The big dark kind eyes are the window to the soul of the Linnie. I had never seen a linnie many years ago, when I saw one in an old issue of Bird Talk. This bird interested me. And so in 2004, the big search was on. Today I have several pairs of beautiful Lineolated Parakeets. I raise all colors including SF and DF Dilutes. These handfed babies make wonderful pets and tend to stay that way, especially with lots of human companionship. These birds are rather quiet as well and make suitable pets for apartments as well. They enjoy a nice mix of cockatiel, conure, pellets and dried fruit mix. I give them fresh fruit and plenty of veggies. They love thier veggies!
